D.Voc Medical Imaging Technology Course Syllabus

The D.Voc Medical Lab Technology is a 3-year diploma level program. The course is related to creating visual images of the interior of a body for clinical analysis and medical purposes of recognizing diseases using the process of Medical Imaging Technology. The course includes the necessary theoretical studies and clinical practice is needed to become a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer. The course contains the essential theoretical studies and clinical practice needed to become a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer.

Syllabus for D.Voc Medical Imaging Technology

The syllabus for D.Voc Medical Imaging Technology comprises 5-6 subjects in each semester. The course will be conducted semester wise. There are a total of 6 semesters in the course. It is a diploma level program. After clearing all the examinations held in 6 semesters, the candidates will be able to get the Diploma Certificate.

  • Pathology:- Pathology is a branch of medical science primarily related to the cause, origin, and nature of the disease. It includes tissues, organs, bodily fluids, and an autopsy to study and diagnose the disease.
  • Human Anatomy and Human Physiology:- Anatomy and physiology are two of the most basic rules and fields of study in life sciences. Anatomy refers to the internal and external structures of the body and their anatomical relationships, while anatomy refers to the study of the functions of those structures.
  • Radiation Physics, Medical Microbiology, and Biochemistry:- Medical and radiation physicists work in many different areas related to human health to improve the quality of life. They are familiar with the aspects of ionization and non-ionizing radiation used for radiation therapy.
